Anti-slip grip application

A chilly -1°C at East Cowes for the Marine team working on the removal and application of anti-slip onboard the Red Jet 7, as part of her refit at Wight Shipyard.

With the areas initially surveyed and measured, drawing files were created then passed on to our in-house production team. Having pre-cut parts enables the application team to spend less time on site.

A 3 man team on this particular job involved starting the removal process and carrying out surface prep. With this underway, application of the new grip was carried out alongside.

Our anti-slip grip application results in reduction in overall vessel weight (vs. paint). Application & any replacement can be carried out with no tenting or drying time.

Our premium anti-slip grip tape (up to military grade) has been installed onto crew transfers, wind farm vessels, patrol vessels, passenger ferries and high-traffic walkways.
